AG Air Jet Revised
The Air Jet Revised is designed for heatsetting of forming fabrics. The system comprise of a hot air box and a reflector plate.
As of 2009, 44 Air Jet systems have been supplied to the forming fabric industry.
The hot air is blown on to the fabric through two pairs of continuous slots, forming two pressure zones across the machine width. Due to the permeability of forming fabrics, some air will flow through the fabric, heating it very effectively. The purpose of the reflector plate is to avoid that this air is lost, thus maintaining the temperature in the heat zone. The air, which has passed through the fabric, will flow to the return air zone between the pressure zones for reheating and completion of the air circuit.
Ideal for installation in existing tables
The photograph shows an Air Jet Revised and our tenter installed in a forming fabric table. The Air Jet Revised is ideal for installation in existing tables, as it can be installed in almost any machine without modifications to existing equipment.
